We are continuously developing our innovative solutions as a response to problems with traditional investment solutions. The financial crisis of 2008 exposed the potential disadvantages of investing in alternative investment funds jointly held with other investors. In particular, the widespread suspension of redemptions or imposition of stringent gating and side pocket provisions and, in extreme cases, losses due to fraud, have fuelled interest in a different investment structure. More and more investors are demanding greater transparency, control and direct access to their investments. One way to meet these demands is to use managed accounts.

The managed accounts platform developed by Prime Capital operates differently from most standard solutions for managed account platforms in that it offers clients their own portfolio in which their assets are exclusively invested. The problematic disadvantages of co-mingled managed accounts, which are often the same as those associated with normal offshore funds, do not apply.

An individual managed account set up by Prime Capital is 100% owned by the client. Our services also encompass the organisation of trading, operations, risk management and reporting, ensuring a suitable risk monitoring and control environment. Another part of the offer is the bridging function to the trading advisor of the individual managed account and the monitoring of his performance and compliance with the investment regulations.
